    Join us this Friday, May 9th, for Kantorei of Davdison's first concert! 
    Kantorei of Davidson is an extension of the Davidson College Choral Arts Society, its membership drawn from that community based ensemble. A new, semi-professional choir with members from the Lake Norman region and Charlotte, Kantorei is comprised of members who share a love of choral music and the discipline (and fun!) of the choral rehearsal process.

  • Collegium Musicum's First Madrigal Dinner A Success!
    On Friday, May 3, Collegium Musicum, the Music Department's student run choral ensemble, presented the first-ever Madrigal Dinner in the Davidson College Presbyterian Church Congregation House. The event was catered by student run P.S. Catering, and organized and directed by the members of Collegium. 
    Collegium Musicum is made of up of students who are active in the Choral area at Davidson, and they serve as section leaders in Davidson's top choral ensemble, Chorale.

  • Davidson Choirs, Orchestra, and Opera Theatre Collaboration
    It's a busy season for the Davidson Choral program! For the first time in Davidson's history, the Opera Theatre combines with Davidson Choirs and Orchestra to present "Do You Hear the People Sing?". Tickets can be purchased online for this Sunday evening's performance (April 13, 7:30 PM).
    Don't miss this spectacular event featuring extremely talented Davidson vocalists and instrumentalists performing opera and musical theatre favorites!

  • Chorale joins Charlotte Community Arts Endeavor

    This Sunday, April 13, the Chorale will join with the Chancel Choir of St. John's Baptist Church and the Carolina Chamber orchestra to present Fauré's REQUIEM. The service begins at 10:30 AM at 300 Hawthorne Lane in Charlotte, NC. 
    Admission is FREE. Come enjoy this beautiful and serene setting of the requiem.

    Join the Davidson College Chorale for their Spring Concert this Friday, March 21, at 8:00pm in Davidson College Presbyterian Church. Their concert will feature Bach's  Lobet den Herrn , Fauré's  Requiem , Matthias'  Make A Joyful Noise , Halloran's  Witness , and Rutter's  The Lord Bless You and Keep You .
